  • Basic Description
    • Apply critical respiratory care procedures in the treatment and diagnosis of patients, primarily in critical care areas, working indirectly under supervision of the supervisor or charge therapist. They will plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care.     • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
      • Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position

      • Addendum to Section VI. - Position requires that it is essential to have the ability to wear a respiratory mask. Knowledge of principles of circulation, anatomy, physiology, pulmonary diseases, oxygen therapy, tracheobronchial hygiene and respiratory related equipment. Must also have knowledge of application and effects of mechanical ventilation, invasive and noninvasive monitoring and pharmacological principles.
