Summary

  • Basic Description
    • Responsible for planning and managing large and/or complex projects or project components from the design phase through implementation. They gather required information from the client, while leveraging cross-functional relationships, to evaluate and determine objectives, goals, and scope of any given project. They develop detailed project plans and manage all processes throughout the project lifecycle (e.g., resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control processes, testing, documentation, and training). They ensure milestones are achieved, project objectives are met and projects are successfully delivered on time and on/under budget. Project Managers ensure quality and client satisfaction of technical and non-technical projects. Evaluate current process and practices to develop and implement improvements. The ideal candidate likes to think on his/her feet and have the motivation to drive project success. Leverage your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and understanding of processes to manage project effectively.
  • Specialized Knowledge, Experience and Skills
    (Education, Experience and Skills required to fully perform the requirements of the position)
    • Degree / Education
      • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
    • Level of Experience
      • 8-10 years of related project management or relevant experience.
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
      • PMP Certification or equivalent (Must obtain within 1 year of being hired into the position)
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position
      • N/A

Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.

      • Incumbents in the position as of 3/1/2015 are grandfathered into the position without meeting the PMP Certification requirement due to years of experience servicing CAMC in this capacity or a similar capacity.
