Summary

  • Basic Description
    • Collaborate with and serve as an expert resource to the health care team to enhance the delivery of patient care services. Efficiently coordinate patient needs to assure high quality patient care, reduce length of stay and resource utilization and ensure reimbursement drawing on a broad clinical and systems management knowledge base.

    • Degree / Education
      • Bachelor Degree - Nursing
      • Other Related Degree - Knowledge of Current Nursing Principles - Techniques & Procedures
      • Other Related Degree - Knowledge of Hospital Routine as it Relates to Admission & Third Party
    • Level of Experience
      • 7 - 10 Years - Utilization/Case Management.
      • 7 - 10 Years - 5 yrs Clinical Experience Pertinent to Position - 2 yrs
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
      • Registered Nurse
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position
    • Computer Skills required for this position
      • Windows - Microsoft Office - Excel.

Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.
