Summary

  • Basic Description
    • Responsible for development and implementation of initiatives for a comprehensive approach to the care and management of patients with substance use disorder.  The coordinator will interact with physicians, nursing staff, administration and others to achieve goals.  Utilizing a team approach, this position will develop policies/procedures, treatment models and protocols, assure an effective system for documentation and data reporting, provide education for appropriate groups, peer support and will represent CAMC in planning with community groups.

    • Degree / Education
      • Bachelor degree in Psychology or Social Work or Counseling or Management or related healthcare field.
    • Level of Experience
      • 5 years Addiction Services experience
      • 5 years of leadership of management experience
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position
    • Computer Skills required for this position

Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.
