      • Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist.
    • Minimum Requirement Comments
      • Applicant may also be hired as a Radiologic Technologist (non-ARRT) if applicant is a graduate of an AMA-approved School of Technology training and has taken the ARRT registry exam, but has not received notification of the exam results. When notification of ARRT registry is received, the applicant is then classified as a Radiologic Technologist. Graduate from an accredited Radiology program including 2 or 4 years of formalized training. Must posses valid WV state license. Must possess valid ARRT(R) certification. BCLS certified.
      • Complete required competencies. Complete annual inservice / education requirements. Fulfills "on-call" assignments. Participation in PI/QA activities. Rotates other facilities and shifts as required. Participates in student clinical training completing competencies, and evaluations. Participates in new employee training completing all required documents.
      • Preceptor for new employee training completing all required documents. Must have a performance review rating of above the "meets standards / contributor" level.
