Summary

  • Basic Description
    • Provides administrative support to the Director of Medical Affairs and related staff through the performance of diversified administrative and secretarial functions. This position is the face of Medical Affairs and will be the first contact when physicans, family, and hospital staff enter the department or call the department.

    • Degree / Education
      • High School Diploma/GED
    • Level of Experience
      • 2 years secretarial experience
      • Prefer college level courses in office procedures
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position
      • 40 WPM
    • Computer Skills needed for this position
      • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
      • Familiar with other software and WebXchange

Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.
