Summary

  • Basic Description
    • Under general supervision, the Supply Chain Courier is responsible for the transport of Supply Chain materials and equipment to CAMC facilities and all other contractual customers. This position serves as a liaison between Supply Chain Management and all point-of-service contacts. The Supply Chain Courier will provide outstanding customer service and accept responsibility while maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The Courier must possess a valid driver’s license issued by the state of West Virginia, must be able to safely operate a vehicle not weighing more than 26,000lbs with a standard transmission, and must be able to work independently and proactively.

    • Degree / Education
      • High School Diploma/GED
    • Level of Experience
      • Prefer 6-12 months of delivery driver experience
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
      • Driver's License - class D preferred
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position
    • Computer Skills required for this position

      • Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist.
    • Minimum Requirement Comments
      • Must have and maintain a clean driving record; must successfully complete a certified driver training course within 6 months from start date. Employees hired after July 1, 2016 must be 21 years of age.
