Summary

  • Basic Description
    • Assist patients, families and staff at CAMC, to utilize the spiritual resources which promote health and wholeness, functioning as an integral member of the CAMC health care team.
  • Specialized Knowledge, Experience and Skills
    (Education, Experience and Skills required to fully perform the requirements of the position)
    • Degree / Education
      • Masters Degree - Divinity - Theology or its Equivalent from a Recognized Seminary - Divinity School or College of Theology.
      • AND
      • Other Related Degree - Four Units of Clinical Pastoral Education.
      • AND
      • Pediatric expereince necessay.
    • Level of Experience
      • 1 Year - In an Acute Care Setting
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
        • Chaplain, Cert
        • AND
        • Board eligible candidates preferred, Board eligible candidates must complete certification within 3 years.
        • OR
        • Board eligible or certified through National Certifiing Chaplains Associations
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position
    • Computer Skills required for this position
