  • Basic Description
    • The Corporate Director of Facilities Management will develop, implement, and direct the corporate operations and maintenance program across all organizational sites to ensure environments and building systems are fully functional, energy efficient, clean, and secure.

    • Degree / Education
      • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Hospital Administration, Public Administration, or other related regulatory field.
    • Level of Experience
      • 7 to 9 years' experience in the field of maintenance, construction, or engineering and a minimum of 5 years supervisory or management experience.
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
      • Engineering, Architectural license or Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager, preferred.
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position

      • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business administration, or other relevant field. 10 years' experience in the field of maintenance, construction, or engineering and a minimum of 7 years supervisory or management experience.

      • The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.

    • Minimum Requirement Comments
      • Knowledge of regulatory compliance for TJC, DNV, OSHA, NFPA, local, state, & federal policies, codes, and regulations required. Understands building maintenance, construction, and building systems. A technical skill in at least two of the following is preferred: large heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC&R), environmental controls & instrumentation, energy management, plant operations, and maintenance. Knowledge in the system architecture, logical programming, and complex sequences of operations of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Management and Control Systems (EMCS) such that these systems can be optimized is highly desirable.
