  • Basic Description
    • Apply respiratory care procedures in the treatment and diagnosis of patients, in both general and critical care areas, working indirectly under supervision of the supervisor or charge therapist. They will plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory care.     • Degree / Education
      • Associate Degree - Respiratory care 
      • OR
      • Bachelor Degree - Respiratory care
    • Level of Experience
      • None
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
      • Licensed Respiratory Therapist Certified
      • Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered within 1 year of hire
      • Basic Life Support - Must be certified within 30 days of hire.
      • Advanced Cardiac Life Support - Must be certified within 1 year of hire.
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position

Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.
