Summary

  • Basic Description
    • Provides high-quality “one-stop” technical support for physicians and advanced practitioners in a direct and a hands-on manner in physicians’ lounges and other venues chosen by leadership. Specific needs will dictate competencies required for any particular position. Typical required technology competencies include mobile device configuration and remote access configuration. Typical required application competencies include Cerner Millennium PowerChart, Dragon dictation, Zynx order sets, Cerner Lights On, and Cerner iAccess.
  • Specialized Knowledge, Experience and Skills

    • Degree / Education
      • Clinically-related degree or certification
    • Level of Experience
      • 1 years of direct patient care experience in a hospital nursing or health system owned physician office environment OR 1 years of clinical informatics duties impacting physicians with respect to enterprise clinical information systems, plus 1 years of hands-on IT experience to meet the skill requirements list above.
      • Minimum of 2 years with Cerner Millennium or Cerner related products
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
