Summary

  • Basic Description
    • Triggers or Consults from clinical direction or nursing assessments are received regarding patient's skin or ostomy related needs, the WOC Nurses prioritize those seen.  Assessments are completed and documented, recommendations for care made and/or lessons for ostomy care are coordinated with patient/care partner.

    • Degree / Education
      • Bachelors degree in Nursing
    • Level of Experience
      • 2 years of Nursing experience

    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
      • Registered Nurse
      • Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
      • Wound Ostomy Continence Certification - Must be obtained within 18 months of coming to the department.
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position
    • Computer Skills required for this position
