  • Basic Description
    • To improve the rates of linkage to and retention in care to outpatients and their families served by the CAMC Ryan White Part C HIV Program. This position will provide specialized education and psychosocial services which include: patient assessments, counseling, partner testing, crisis intervention, implementation and coordination of services for referrals and other professional services as may be required.

      • Masters Degree SOCWORK
    • Level of Experience
      • 1 Year Related
    • Lic./Cert./Reg.
      • All licensure must be current/valid and from the state of West Virginia.
      • Licensed Social Worker
    • Typing/Word Processing skills required for this position

      • Bachelors and 5-7 years of direct hospital related experience. May substitute for Masters and 1 year experience

      • The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.
